Why I’m Here
Transforming through Radical Authenticity and Decolonized Spaces
At the heart of my work lives the unwavering committment to the decolonization of community spaces, and a reverence for what a privilege it is to know we all have the ability to change (if we choose to). I believe that embracing “the messy,” can be profoundly transformative, extending far beyond the boundaries of events or workshops to fundamentally reshape our culture towards safety, joy, and freedom.
I’m cultivating a community of social activists and culture shifters, committed to transformation and dedicated to challenging the systems that oppress us all. My work recognizes that every interaction, every desire, is shaped by a society rooted in sexism, racism, ableism, white supremacy, cis-heteronormativity, patriarchy, settler-colonizer, and capitalism. I actively aim to dismantle these systems by first unpacking them from within myself, and using that experience to offer fundamental skills, and foster spaces where equity, consent, and restorative accountability are at the core.
Through coaching, workshops, and community organizing, I create opportunities for personal and collective growth. I facilitate experiences, not performances, encouraging participants to explore and integrate all parts of themselves, especially those they've been taught to hide or hate. My goal is to offer judgment-free spaces that allow for true healing and transformation, where each individual feels seen, heard, and valued. And, I am NOT for everyone. People who tend to resonate with my work are those who do not fear the shadow. My work is available to those who have already decided we are no longer willing to continue to uphold systems of harm in our life. As scary as it may be to meet the parts of ourselves that are the LEAST “loveable,” doing nothing is no longer an option.
I aim to practice what I preach, holding myself accountable to the highest standards of equitable, trauma-informed, and privilege-aware spaces. And with that, I acknowledge that I will make mistakes and aim to learn, restore integrity and do better each time. I welcome all who are committed to these principles, knowing that the journey to radical authenticity begins with embracing our imperfections and sharing our stories.
